Seth walks in wanting to talk to her and apologize. Summer says she was humiliated and Seth tries reasoning with her saying he wanted her to be apart of the comic. Summer asks for a time out and Seth says its perfect timing since he is going to Miami. They argue and it's uncertain whether or not they will be back on when he gets back.

Kirsten walks inside to her empty house and picks up the phone, calling Newport Group looking for Carter. Kirsten gets to work hoping to finish a few pieces for the magazine but Carter tells her, he got another job offer in New York. Carter tells her that someone will replace him and Kirsten is upset. Kirsten assures him she is happy for him and Carter says they should have dinner. Kirsten suggests her place.
Sandy, Ryan, and Seth make it to Miami and walk around the city and Sandy encourages them to enjoy the weekend since they all have nothing to worry about. Marissa visits Trey and says she will be there for him while Ryan is away and says that they can even go job hunting. Marissa leaves saying she will se him later and Trey watches her leave, confused. Jess assumes that Trey is into Marissa. Ryan, Sandy, and Seth get to Nana's senior living center and Seth joins the older people and pretends to be older. Ryan and Sandy are scared just as the Nana greets them. Sandy says hi first and then she greets Ryan. Sophie says hi to Seth and then asks Sandy if he wants to talk.
Sandy tells Sophie that things have been rocky with Kirsten and Sophie says that they will work things out. Sandy is shocked she is being so supportive and Sophie says that falling in love will do that to you. Sophie shows Sandy pictures of the place she is planning to get married at and that she wants to move with her young fiancée who is a chiropractor as soon as they are married. Sophie tells Sandy to stop judging and Sandy says he can't wait to meet him. Back in Newport, Summer continues to punch her punching bag while listening to music when Zach walks in. Summer gets scared and accidentally punches Zach across the face. Summer apologizes to Zach and she tells him how she is on a break with Seth. Zach invites Summer over for dinner that he will cook and she agrees.

Trey tells her he got the job and Marissa congratulates him with a hug. Trey asks to celebrate with her and they plan to meet later that night. Seth gets beat by Mary Sue and he doesn't take it well. He asks for a rematch and suggests that she will only do so if Seth agrees to be her partner in a dance contest. Mary Sue says she entered Music Video Nation's Spring Break Special dance contest and that the winner gets a lot of money which she wants to use for her loans.
At Music Video Nation's Spring Break Special, T.I. performs just as Ryan, Seth, and Mary Sue arrive to sign up. Seth asks what kind of dancing it is and Mary Sue says it isn't a dance contest and brings out a can of whipped cream. Seth and Ryan are confused and Mary Sue says that she has to cover herself in whipped cream and Seth has to lick it all off, eat a cherry from her mouth, all before the other contestants do. Mary Sue begs him to do it for her grandma and Seth unwillingly agrees. Ryan warns Seth about Summer and they leave to sign up.
Marissa gets a call from Ryan and he asks her to keep Summer away from the television since the contest will be broadcasted. Marissa tells Ryan she is going to celebrate with Trey since he got a job. Zach is making Summer gnocchi and he turns on the T.V. which shows the broadcast of Music Video Nation's Spring Break Special. Bobby says they met at his practice and Sandy starts questioning Bobby's intentions. Sandy thinks that Bobby is after Sophie's money but Bobby says that isn't the case. Sandy warns Bobby which leaves him a little shaken up. Marissa and Trey plan to watch movies, The Notebook, and drink margaritas. Kirsten plans what looks like quite the romantic dinner with Carter and is drinking wine, waiting for him. Carter arrives early and they begin. Seth sees everyone practicing for the contest and he tells Mary Sue he doesn't think he should go ahead with it. Mary Sue begs him not to since she would have to drop out of college and not be able to pay her grandma's medical bills.
Ryan goes to the bar asking for water and runs into a guy looking for his girlfriend who entered the contest. The guy says that their college will expel her and claims she is cheating on him and brought friends, Bible Study group, to beat whoever it is up. The guy reveals her name is Mary Sue and Ryan realizes what is going to happen as the contest starts. Kirsten and Carter have already finished a bottle of wine before they have even ate. He helps her open up another bottle while holding her hand and she says they need to eat. Sophie and Sandy are waiting for dinner with Bobby and she gets a call from him. Bobby tells Sophie he is facing a malpractice suit and is leaving Miami for good. Sophie figures out that Sandy said something and leaves.
Marissa gets worried she is drinking too much and Trey suggests they finally watch the movie. Marissa begins to get uncomfortable when Trey sits way too close to her. Trey keeps looking at her and Marissa wants to get out of the apartment to get some air. Trey takes more drugs before he heads out with her. Sandy offers to stay longer but Sophie says he needs to go back home to Kirsten. She asks him to visit more often and Sandy agrees. Carter and Kirsten finish up dinner and clean up the kitchen together. They joke about Kirsten's lack of cooking and they share more tension. Carter then reveals that he almost didn't take his new job because he didn't want to leave Kirsten. Carter kisses Kirsten and she wishes him luck with his new job. Carter leaves and Kirsten starts crying while drinking something stronger. She chugs a class of vodka and calms herself down.
Trey and Marissa are walking by the beach and Trey is wasted and high. He grabs Marissa and spins her around. She asks him to put her down and then Trey says that when he is with Marissa he feels like he can do anything and he says how he thinks they are very similar... Marissa starts to walk away and he grabs her and starts to pull her closer. Marissa tries to stop him and she says she is only nice to him because he is Ryan's brother. Trey tries to kiss Marissa and she tries pushing him off her but he won't let her go. Trey kisses Marissa and she is screaming at him to get off her. Trey holds Marissa down and tries to rape her. Marissa is struggling to get free but she finds something to hit him over the head with. Trey grabs her collarbone but Marissa runs away, leaving Trey upset with a huge gash on his head. Back in Miami, Seth is covered in whipped cream walking around the city with Ryan. Ryan tries to call Marissa but she left her purse and cellphone at the beach.
