Summary
Sandy is voted "Man of the Year" by Riviera magazine due to his work for the hospital, but at the same time is having trouble with the law for his connections to Henry Griffin when Dr. Griffin's mob connections are made public. Although Seth is happily back together with Summer, he is not out of sorrow: Kirsten struggles with alcoholism again and Sandy finds out Seth lied about being accepted into Brown University. Meanwhile, Marissa visits Kaitlin at her posh boarding school, who needs her help to get out of trouble with another student. After Ryan brought Volchok to the hospital after he beat him nearly to death, Volchok wants Ryan to help him with some illegal activities, which includes burglary and theft of a car; otherwise he will bust Ryan to the cops. By the end of the evening, Seth's future may be going up in smoke...literally.
