"The French Connection" is the tenth episode in the fourth season of the Fox drama series The O.C.. The episode aired on the eleventh of January, in 2007.
Synopsis[]
Taylor's ex-hubby writes a hot-selling erotic novel. Who's the lead character? Three guesses and the first two don't count. Seth seeks Neil's permission to marry Summer. Kirsten uncovers Julie's biz scam.
Plot[]
Ryan and Taylor experience a bump in their blossoming relationship when Taylor's French ex-husband, Henri-Michel, comes to Newport to promote a novel that he has written about his and Taylor's whirlwind romance and brief marriage. Meanwhile, Seth goes to Seattle for Dr. Roberts' blessing to marry Summer, while back in Newport, Summer becomes acquainted with former school mate Holly Fisher, who's now married herself, and shows Summer the style of that it's like to be a "Newpsie" housewife. Kirsten becomes suspicious about Julie's handling of their dating service and finally learns the truth after sealing Julie's mobile phone with her clients names and phone numbers on it. Also, Kaitlin finds an interest in her personal tutor, Will. But she's afraid of what he thinks of her.
