Summer and Ryan is the relationship between Summer Roberts and Ryan Atwood-Cohen throughout the first, second, third and fourth seasons of the Fox drama series The O.C.. They are good friends, who's relationship develops within their close knit friend group.

When Summer first saw Ryan she developed a crush on him immediately, inviting him to the party at Holly's beach house. There she flirted with him, unknowingly leading to a conflict between Ryan and Seth, as Seth had a crush on her. When she found out he was from Chino she lost interest in him but still wanted him to be her date to the debutante ball. After Cotillion she stopped talking about Ryan, as Marissa went on her first date with him.
